Parker Brooks Medical Bills

On March 2nd, 2018 our world stopped turning. A woman pulled out in front of Parker and he struck her going 41 MPH on his motorcycle. He t-boned her and flew over the car, rolled and slid down the middle of the road. Doctors and police said that his helmet saved his life. He has a traumatic brain injury, a fractured jaw, lacerations to his neck, collapsed lung, broken arm that needed a plate and seven screws, his knee is torn up but not broken, and multiple cuts and contusions. It was 100% this woman's fault.

This happened while my husband and I were stuck in New York during a blizzard and couldn’t get home. We scrambled to find plane tickets and took two days to get home. They were the longest two days of our lives. Thankfully our daughter handled everything like a professional until we could get home. He was in ICU for 15 days in critical condition on life support. Then he was transferred to a surgical unit for a few days and now he is at a rehabilitation center beginning his road to recovery. These funds will go towards his hospitals and rehabilitation bills, and equipment he will need when he gets home.
