Park Bench Memorial for Joe Hegedus

On Saturday, October 2, 2021, my dad, Joe, passed away peacefully in his sleep. He was 65 years old. My dad was one of the most kind, loving, gentle souls on the planet, with a special place in his heart for kids and animals. We believe his mischievous childhood spark never extinguished, even into his later years. He was a hard worker all of his life, never giving anything less than 100% to everything he did. He would do anything for anyone at anytime, no questions asked. We thought instead of flowers for his funeral, it would be a nice idea to gather a collection to put a park bench in Ludington, one of his most favorite places in the world to camp and visit. Any leftover funds will be donated to the Humane Society of South Central Michigan in his honor.
