The Mark: Help Us Serve Oklahoma City

The Parish is a church in the heart of Oklahoma City, founded in the Plaza District in 2012 with a vision to renew the classical model of the local church as a gathering place for the community that surrounds it. 



We believe that God’s heart for justice and mercy means we should take action, so we’ve committed ourselves to addressing issues of poverty and oppression that affect our neighborhood and city.  Through free neighborhood dinners, after-school and summer programs in nearby McKinley Park, District House Coffee Shop and the Venue for arts and entertainment, we have striven to share the love of Christ in real and tangible ways. 



From our current location on the corner of 16th & Penn, we touch so many neighborhoods—communities of beautifully diverse ethnicity and backgrounds. 


We’re also home to The Parish School, which seeks to provide a safe space for kids, prioritizing enrollment to meet the unique needs faced by the urban youth of our city. Students will participate in a community garden and have access to after-school programming that combines crafts, outdoor exploration, and Biblical principles. 

We have an urgent need to raise funds to purchase our current building by August 1st. Your gift will help us continue to minister to the families and children in the neighborhoods around us.
