As many of you already know, my brother, Parish Swanson (50) of Aurora, IL suffered injuries from a lake accident which were too severe for him to overcome. After 6 days on life support in Elkhart, IN in critical care, Parry passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 13th with his family by his side. We wanted to thank everyone who helped, supported and prayed for us during this tough time. Our family is forever grateful to everyone for the outpouring of support and love we have received this past week.
My brother had a heart of gold, touched so many lives and was well loved by all. We know he served his purpose in life by giving to others and helping those in need before the needs of his own. His legacy will forever be carried on by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, we are setting up a memorial fund for donations to go directly to Parry's wife and family to help with unexpected medical, funeral and future expenses. We all can help by taking some of the financial aspects of this tragedy off their shoulders and help the family get through this tough time.
