Paranoid- Short Film

Story
Paranoid is a story about a 17 year old younger brother Charlie, whose life is thrown out of balance when he witnesses his older brother Jake’s unexpected psychotic episode. In the aftermath, Charlie must come to terms with Jake's mental illness after learning that he is Schizophrenic. Paranoid is based on the screenwriter Jordan's personal experience with her older brother. She never thought that she would be in the position of harm from her own sibling. But even after witnessing such an unexpected psychotic episode, she knew that she needed to support, accept, and love her brother regardless of his mental condition. "When I sat down to write the script, my overall goal was to educate people more about schizophrenia, as well as send a message that having a mental illness should never define a person." -Jordan Krekorian.
