Paramedic Science University Tuition

I have decided to pursue a degree in Paramedic Science as I have always aspired to make a positive impact on people's lives and help them in their time of need. Having worked as a full time healthcare assistant on an elderly ward at Addenbrookes hospital while undertaking a foundation degree in nursing at Anglia Ruskin University for the past 18 months, I have developed a wide array of skills applicable to the health and social care industry. I now feel fully equipped to undertake a full time degree in Paramedic Science in order to further my ambitious career goals and learn more about the industry in which I wish to work and thrive. The role of the paramedic is diverse and no day is the same; this type of vocation significantly appeals to me as I believe I have shown myself to be someone with the right attitude and approach to operate in a fast-moving, varied and high-pressure environment.

Since completing my foundation degree in nursing I have moved to London and am currently working at the Royal London Hospital as a nursing assistant in A & E. Whilst I throughly enjoy my current job I would love to develop my skills and knowledge to become a paramedic for the London ambulance service. I have successfully gained a place on the paramedic science degree course at the University of Hertfordshire to start in September 2019 but I will have to self fund my first year due to this being my second higher education course. I am trying to save every penny that I can but this will not be enough to fund the whole first year.
