Michelle Curtin . Paradise Fire Fund

We are  raising money for our dear friend/sister for over 40 years Michelle Curtin and her husband, Mike, who lost everything in “The Campfire” in Paradise, CA. 

She and Mike moved to Paradise CA to retire last year. They just currently moved her 88 year old mother in with her so she could take care of her. She and her mom both fled for their lives with 2 minutes to get out of the house, barely making it down the mountain.  All they have left is her car, the dog, and the clothes on her back.

Their home, including everything inside, RV, and the motorcycles are gone.  Michelle and Mike have lost years of memories, including pictures of her daughter growing up, personal belongings, clothes, shoes, everything is gone.

Michelle and Mike had moved to Paradise from New Orleans, where they had moved after losing the house during the recession in Los Angeles. They had finally rebuilt their life and were literally retiring in Paradise, when everything was lost. 

Michelle and Mike are the kind of people we all strive to be. They will give the clothes off their back to anyone they meet. We are so heartbroken for her and her family.
