Secondly, we hope we’re providing you with enough detail, background and getting over what this all means to us on a personal level to consider donating. Who are we?
We're the guitar-based indie/alt rock duo Para Lia (Greek for Beach or Coastline so you know), essentially a studio based outfit consisting of myself, Rene (vocals and all instruments) and Cindy (vocals). We’re just two regular people holding down day jobs and creating music in our downtime. We enjoy creating music together and we hope it shows?

Background
‘Gone With The Flow’ (GWTF) will contain 11 brand new tracks and it will be our second full length album following on from our debut album ‘Soap Bubble Dreams’ (SBD) released 2019. On GWTF we’re taking it up and beyond where we went with SBD, that said SBD was critically acclaimed, enjoyed worldwide press coverage, featured in 20 plus magazines, webzines and numerous blogs and all were unanimous in their praise for the album. With comparisons ranging from Phillip Boa and the Voodoo Club, Arcade Fire, The Mission, The Last Shadow Puppets, Sebadoh, The Editors and New Order. The album and the lead single ‘Hawk Hill’ initially featured on 132 radio station playlists worldwide and continues to see growth to date.
This new album see’s us collaborate with New York artist Louis Renzoni. I received the following message from Louis ‘Your work is brilliant! I almost fell out of my chair, you paint with subtle layered sounds that feel like ghosts’ After we got talking I quickly found inspiration for a new batch of songs inspired by the artists’ work and those songs form the basis of GWTF. The idea of collaborating soon became an option. The initial idea was for Louis’ next exhibition to feature the music of Para Lia and the bands next release to include a selection of the artists’ work. Then the global pandemic hit. We're now working on a 3D virtual exhibition which will form part of the album marketing campaign.
GWTF will feature guest musicians from USA, UK and Canada.
What this means to us
We’ve already committed 100’s of hours in the writing, creating and recording of GWTF and now we embark on our greatest journey to get the album pressed onto 180gm vinyl! The vinyl release will be the pinnacle for us, to hear, see and hold that heavy weight vinyl knowing that our sound will be preserved for years to come will be an amazing feeling and achievement.

. Pressing of the album ‘Gone With Flow’ on 180gm black vinyl with gatefold sleeve and printed inner sleeve by Packaged Sounds - £2000.00
. Album graphics layout and quality check before printing by SPR Designs - £250
· Mastering of all tracks by Turnstyle Mastering, Berlin - £1500
· Louis Renzoni printed artwork (various printers) - £388
