CT CareTracks is a breakthrough patented contact tracing technology. It was developed as a result of the devastation caused by the SARS epidemic with the goal of preventing and containing all future outbreaks. The engineers at Care Technology have devoted their entire career to inventing healthcare technology that saves lives and makes a societal impact.
Why We Need Your Support
With the Covid-19 virus upon us, CT CareTracks is designed to help battle infectious diseases such as Covid-19 and bring some normalcy back into our lives. But for this to happen, CT CareTracks needs additional funding for pilot testing with hospitals, integration, and building out the front-end and back-end systems and algorithms.
CT CareTracks is a small business that is not backed by big tech, corporate healthcare or government funding. We’re just trained engineers with a passion for improving lives and need financial support to bring this technology to market. Our mission is to fully develop the technology end-to-end and empower hospitals and corporations with this innovation. By going to market through hospitals and corporations, we can significantly mitigate the risk of infection among frontline health service workers and help corporations ensure safer work environments. In the long-term, the technology has the power to help society at large. The more people who adopt this technology, the more accurate the system becomes and the more lives it can help save.
How CT CareTracks Works
• Detect & Alert: In real time, CT CareTracks is able to detect and alert users if they are at-risk of being infected and make recommendations for next steps.
• Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning: Utilizing AI and machine learning, CT CareTracks is able to classify a user’s risk level based on data collected from a small automated monitoring device.
• Peace of Mind: It can detect asymptomatic individuals so you can rest assured knowing whether you have been exposed to an infectious disease or not.

About the Inventor - Dr. Chon Meng Wong, PhD,
Dr. Chon Meng Wong co-founded Care Technology, LLC in 1998 with the mission to build technology that cares for people and the environment. With this mission in mind, Dr. Wong has invented and patented technology in areas related to health (medical monitoring devices, managed care systems, disease surveillance), green technology (portable heating, intelligent energy management, LED lighting systems), and other technologies.
Prior to co-founding Care Technology, Dr. Wong’s notable professional achievements include:
• Served as Senior Technical Director of R&D and New Business Development at PolyFlex Circuits, Inc. where he commercialized pulse oximeter sensors that are still used in hospitals and wearable tech (ie. Apple Watch) today
• Developed a 3D imaging laser array projector for NASA’s space shuttle program
• Pioneered and published research on Ce YAG, which was used as the foundation of Shuji Nakamara’s Nobel Prize winning invention of the Blue/White LED light
• Recipient of the National Science Foundation (NSF) Award of Workshop for Supercomputer Training for his work on the Cray supercomputer
• Authored Handbook of Flexible Circuits
