Pancreatic Cancer & Last Vacation

Dear Friends and Family,

My Ex-husband and father of my 22yr old son was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer about 2 weeks ago.
Doctors have told him that he has 4 months to a year to live, depending on how chemotherapy works out.

My son's name is Nathan and his Dad's name is Jay.  They are struggling financially but have been receiving help from immediate family for monthly bills.  They are hoping social security will pull through for them, so they will not have to rely on others for so much help.  Now it is a waiting game.  
 
Jay's wish is that Nathan and he could take a vacation together before he dies.  Jay and Nathan have never been able to take a road trip and just see where it leads.
Jay's idea is to fly to Las Vegas, rent a car, go to the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, and go for a drive on Route 66 to California. Vacations cost money that they do not have.  Therefore, I am asking my friends and family to help with Jay's wish.  This will be the last chance for Jay to make memories for his son that will last Nathan's lifetime.  

 Nathan is hurting and my heart breaks for him.  I wish more than anything that this was not happening to him and his dad. Nathan is trying so hard to take care of his dad, pay bills, do his schoolwork, and take care of the house while also taking small jobs just to help with bills.
