Pam and Bob's Flooded House Fund

Donation protected
Pamela Costa was on her way to a doctor’s appointment with her daughter on Friday when she and her husband, Robert Alves, each received phone calls saying that they needed to rush home. Their house was about to be flooded.

After bringing up fears and discomfort with the nearby housing project for many years at the town hall meetings, their worries and fears came true.

The construction site next to their home on American Legion Highway / RT 177 in Westport, MA, diverted water towards their home. It wrecked their septic system and their well and contaminated the pipes and water system. The fire department came and pumped the water on Friday night. They came back at 3:30 am on Saturday morning and pumped over 125,000 gallons out of the town retaining pond which was beyond capacity and was about to wipe away or flood their home.

They have contaminated water, 5 kids, and pets... and no flood insurance… and their insurance doesn’t want to pay to repair everything. They are looking for a lawyer and dealing with the town and construction site, but they need our help now.

Pam and Bob have been active in their community, generous with their time and support, helping others whenever they can. It’s time for us to help them. Please do whatever you can to help this family.

Thank you.
