Pakistan Flood Relief 5K Thursday 8th September

Hi everyone, along with a few other people I'll be running a 5k in order to fundraise for the Pakistan flood relief. The damage and destruction toll from more than six weeks of torrential monsoon rains and flash flooding across Pakistan is mounting, with over 1000 fatalities and countless displaced families.

Balochistan and South Punjab regions are the worst affected regions, with entire communities underwater and livelihoods destroyed. Millions of acres of land are submerged, and acres of cotton crops have been destroyed.

More rain has been forecast and it's heartbreaking to see all the destruction and loss of life.

The Citizens Foundation flood relief appeal seeks to provide meals, housing and urgent medical care to those on the ground. We're looking to raise at least €500 to help with this appeal. Will also be donating to other non-profits including the Edhi Foundation and Project Rise.
