Pain Management with Wearable Therapy for Aaron

As many of you already know, on July 4, 2020 my 28-year old brother, Aaron had a life altering surf accident that left him paralyzed. Its been a challenging time for my brother and our whole family as he adapts to life without his former abilities.

As a result of Aaron's spinal cord injury (SCI) he lives with symptoms of severe spacisity, aggressive muscle tone and daily, chronic pain. There's no manual or hand-holding in the journey of spinal cord injury. And the effects and therefore needs are as varied and unique as the individuals who face them. The sector of medicine focusing on discovering cures and rememedies to this degenerative disease are innovative and impressive. They're also wildly costly. From the onset of Aaron's accident, I have often found myself shocked at the expense of therapies and technologies that aid this population to living more easefully and gracefully... for this population is often left in the position of limited employment opportunities.
