Paige's home safety renovation project

On April 24,2021, our daughter Paige was rushed to the ER at Nationwide Children's Hospital due to severe pain in her neck and shoulders. Approximately 12 hours later our daughter was being tubed and put on a respirator because she lost the ability to breathe on her own.
As of right now the diagnosis is acute flaccid myelinitis which means Sudden muscle weakness due to inflammation of the spinal cord. The location is between C2 and C4 which has unfortunately caused her to be paralyzed from the shoulders down.
She has shown much improvement however she's still at this point unable to do most things on her own.
The estimated time frame for her release from the hospital is July 7, 2021.
Paige has had the fight to survive and to endure the pain and suffering through out this ordeal. As strong as she is, she's still going to come home disabled.
Paige has also spent her 18th birthday in the ICU, and graduated High School inside the hospital.
She's a very dedicated young lady receiving several scholarships and also an Honors Society recipient.
This situation has now delayed her plans to attend college, but has not defeated her spirit and faith.
Since Paige is now 18 yrs old she does have the ability to apply for assistance on several levels, however there is a long process time and the County we live in has limited resources.
So, with all that being said we need help with funding to get our house up to specifications for a disabled individual.
We will have to have this done by July 7th or before so she can be released into our (family's care) instead of another type of facility.
The items that need to be done are listed below. Contractors will be hired for the jobs so they are up to code. The estimated cost is $15,000.
Front door replaced/ reframed for wheelchair accesibility
Sliding patio door
Wheelchair ramps (2)
Complete renovation for the bathroom for disabled adult specifications.
Please help us to bring her home so she can continue to heal from this unfortunate and life altering experience.
