Help Paige Achieve her Dream!

My name is Paige Rydberg.  I am 17 years old.  Figure Skating is my passion, my dream, my entire life. I have spent 10 years training to be the best figure skater possible. In 2015 & 2016 I was chosen to be a proud member of TEAM USA. I represented TEAM USA in Junior Grand Prix Competitions, my first year.  This year I became a Senior Lady competitor, (the highest level of achievement in figure skating).  I represented TEAM USA as a Senior Lady in an  International Senior Event.   In January, 2017,  I will compete in the US FIgure Skating Senior Ladies National  Champship.  My future goals are to make the World Team and USA Olympic Team. I want to continue working hard to achieve these goals but without your financial support I will not be able to continue working towards my future goals in skating.

My success is dependent on my hard work, determination, skill and ability to perform consistently well under pressure. Also, it is critically dependent on raising the finances necessary to meet my training and competition expenses.

My annual training and competition expenses are approaching $30,000 a year, which does not include basic living or other expenses. I am a financially challenged athlete suffering from a resource gap between what my Mother, a single parent, can afford and the costs associated with figure skating at the elite level.  Significant additional funding is necessary in order for me to continue skating. As an elite figure skater, my training requirements continue to increase. My Mom and I struggle / sacrifice to cover our living expenses and my training requirements. I have what it takes in all respects to climb to the top and be the next National Champion, but without additional financial support (without you), my dream will vanish.

I feel blessed to be an elite figure skater; I have had many beautiful moments and have experienced a lot of success at an early age.  My furture is going to require so much more from me in terms of strength and determination. I am ready both physically and mentally to accept these challenges! The greatest challenge will be sustaining the costs associated with elite figure skating. I will receive some support from my federation the United States Figure Skating Association but not nearly enough to sustain my training needs.
