Help David pay his medical bills
Hello, my name is Felicia and I am trying to fundraiser for my father Dave. He was in a near fatal accident on 06/08/2021. He was hit on his scooter by a hit and run driver forcing him into traffic where he was then hit by a car. He was rushed to the ER and underwent several surgeries. It wasn’t until the next day that anyone knew what kind of shape he was in.
It turns out he has 6 broken ribs, a shattered collar bone, a toe that needed reattached and skin graphs, hip surgery that may or may not lead to a replacement. Needless to say, it’s bad! When all of the surgeries are completed, he will be transferred to a rehabilitation center.
As of right now, we honestly do not know what will be owed but there is a $4000 down payment for the rehab center and I can’t imagine how much the hospital will charge with staying there for 2 weeks and several surgeries.
My father has insurance but it doesn’t cover enough for him to cover the bills. He has 3 younger children he takes care of and he simply doesn’t have the income to cover all of this. So I am trying my hardest to raise anything I can to help him as I know this is going to be a long and trying time.
