To say Michaella, Dylan, Becky and Jacob Paddock have had a difficult time during the past few months is an understatement. These wonderful kids lost their mother on February 20, 2018 after a 15 month battle with Lymphoma. Tragically, their father very abruptly and unexpectedly died on March 27, 2018. Within a span of five weeks, both of their parents are gone. If you know the Paddocks, and even if you don't, they share a strong and close family bond. The Paddock kids are devastated, but they are strong.
This Paddock Posse is facing the daunting challenge of life without the two most influential and important people in their lives. The funeral and burial costs are staggering! While the two oldest children have graduated college, are working and supporting themselves while repaying college loans, the younger two are still in school. Becky is a student at Baylor University in Waco, TX and Jacob is a senior at St. John's High School in Shrewsbury, MA. After living in Texas for several years where they met, married and began their family, Mike and Pam moved to Shrewsbury, MA where all 4 kids attended schools all the way through high school. Both boys attended St. John's HS; both girls attended Shrewsbury High School and were active in sports and various activities. The family was also a member of and attended St. Mary's Parish. This GoFundMe account is being created primarily to help relieve a little bit of the worry and burden these children are facing while trying to grasp and deal with their new reality. In addition, it is an opportunity to show these children that they are loved and not alone.
Please be completely assured that every single cent raised through this fundraiser will go directly to these kids through a bank account linked to this fund raiser and managed by a very close family friend from Texas. Their financial needs not only include the funeral and burial costs, but also healthcare, education expenses, daily living expenses and a host of other expenses.
