Little Abram Pitts is the 2 year old (this weekend) son of Whitney and Donnell Pitts. Over the last few weeks, Whitney and Don have noticed a few things going on with Abram and kept getting told everything was allergy related. After following her amazing motherly instincts, Whitney noticed swelling of Abrams nose and then some serious swelling around his left eye. This urged she and Don to demand answers.
As of now; we know that Abram has tumors in his lymph nodes on both sides of the neck and in his nasal/sinus cavity that goes up behind his left eye. They have done a biopsy, a spinal tap and bone marrow sample (the latter being precautionary) and the family is waiting on results. They do know, as of now, radiation and chemotherapy are the treatment path. They are only waiting on a definite diagnosis of type of cancer.
Whitney and Don are amazing citizens of Norman Park/Moultrie/Colquitt County. Don works for UPS and Whitney is an amazing Art teacher at Colquitt County High School.
With the most troubling of times with Covid-19, we humbly ask you to give anything you can to help this young family.
They are already in the thousands of dollars of medical bills and it will only go up as they move forward. Thank you so much for your generosity towards this much-loved Packer Family.
We also ask that you continue your prayers for complete healing and peace for Abram... prayers for understanding for Maddox, his 4 year old brother... and prayers for strength, peace, comfort, and guidance for Whitney and Don. Prayers are already being felt by this family.
