Marine Reach Medical Ship

Meet our beautiful Marine Reach vessel: The Pacific Hope.  It is a medical ship crewed entirely by volunteers,  bringing medical care to many of the poorer and more isolated islands of the South Pacific.   We have reached 18 nations  with medical care and have seen over 450,000 patients on board this ship. Right now our focus is on Vanuatu, which is a group of 63 islands. The people living there are quite poor, and only have 1 doctor for every 30,000 people. Medical care for them is a vital need. In the last year the people of Vanuatu were hit by a major cyclone and more recently several earthquakes, destroying homes, injuring people, and even taking lives. We are sailing there on May 1st with medical personel, wound care supplies, and an entire dental and medical clinic.
