Pablo Ocasio Memorial Contributions

Our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, brother in law, and son in law, Pablo Ocasio, passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Jacobi Hospital.  He is survived by his wife, son and daughter. 

His passing resulted from a wide range of complications. He began to feel sick on Saturday and was admitted to the hospital.  After many tests, doctors reported he had severe pneumonia, an infection in his lungs and blood, acidic blood, extremely low blood pressure and his organs were shutting down, unable to withstand the spread of infection and low blood pressure. More complications snow balled after and he became incredibly ill. 

Pablo was retired for 6 years but prior to that, worked for the City of NY as a social worker for 35 years. Prior to being a social worker, he was a history teacher and worked for child protective services. Pablo graduated CUNY Lehman College with a Bachelors in History, worked as a cab driver, and worked in the Mister Softee trucks with his free time. His favorite hobby to do on his spare time was flying small planes and inviting anyone who wanted to go up and take the ride with him.

His wife will be able to make use of the money raised here in whatever way she needs, whether it's funeral/burial costs, rent payments, house bills, groceries, transportation costs, memorial contributions in Pablo’s honor, etc.  She is a frugal spender so have no doubt your contributions will be well spent.
