Alexandra Konikow's critical care

Alexandra Konikow, an independent and bright 21 year old college student, was enroute to a lunch date with her grandmother when she was involved in a very serious car accident. She was driving prudently, not texting or talking on her phone, when a vehicle on the other side of the boulevard going in the opposite direction lost control of his vehicle, crossed over two traffic lanes, a median, two more lanes and struck Alexandra's vehicle and critically injured her. This accident occurred on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 on Hancock Bridge Pkwy in Cape Coral, Florida. Alexandra is in critical condition in a trauma unit, has brain injuries and multiple other injuries, none of which will be quick to heal. Alexandra has worked at Sam's Club and attends Florida Gulf Coast University as a senior. She will be out of work for an unknown period of time. Her recovery will be incredibly long and tough. This request is being made to cover rent, utilities, medical and other bills that will keep coming to her while she's in the hospital recovering, plus the expenses that will continue long after hospitalization and rehabilitation which will be required to return her back to good health.
