Get well Harley

This is Harley.  He has been a precious member of our family for 12 years. He's been the epitome of a good dog-- full of life and personality, and welcoming to all who came through our door. He's always been healthy and looking young for his years until recently. Last week, we noticed he was lethargic and struggled to stand, as well as some alarming swelling in his abdomen. The vet said he needs more tests to figure out the cause and that we need to drain his belly to relieve him of his pain. This will be a temporary relief though, as they are unsure what is causing the build up of fluid. They anticipate a surgery will have to be performed in any event. We love Harley and want to give him the best chance to live fully once more. If it's no hardship, any help for Harley's journey back to health would be beyond appreciated. We had to seriously deliberate over whether we should make a gofundme for Harley or not, considering the many humans who are suffering and in need of help, but in the end we love him and will do our best for him.
