Over the years, Bruce progressed through the Club and became a much-beloved volunteer coach.
Bruce has been an invaluable coach for St George donating his time over the past four decades, coaching junior, senior and master squads. One of Bruce's coaching highlights was seeing his master's men’s quad win silver at the World Masters Games in 2009.
Bruce has also coached over 1,000 crews to medals in all Championship races.
Bruce has also coached over 1,000 crews to medals in all Championship races.
Bruce continues to volunteer his time coaching for St George, always helping with repairs and maintenance at the club and supporting our rowers at regattas in Victoria, Western Australia, South Australia, Queensland, ACT and Tasmania.
Bruce is highly respected in the rowing community and has formed many ongoing friendships over the years.
Unfortunately, Bruce has experienced health issues resulting in surgery which had a significant financial impact.
We want to thank and recognise Bruce for his many years of dedication and time by giving people the opportunity to show their appreciation for Bruce's outstanding service to the club and its members by donation.
