My name is Leigha and this is my story....
I was born February 11, 2020 with severe valgus & Flexural deformity.  It was suggested that I be euthanized. However, I was brought to Chad Kristi and Makynna  at Spit Happens instead. 

I bonded with them pretty quickly. I was given a warm bath and they begin feeding me formula with a syringe. My first bed was a Rubbermaid with a heat lamp. Their German Shepherd, Kricket, watched over me constantly. Eventually, I got to sleep with her in her bed. I like that because she kept me warm.
I learn to drink from a bottle and walk around using my front legs. Chad built me my first wheelchair when I was only four days old. This gave me the ability to run. 

As a I grew, my herd consisted of cats, dogs, and humans. I began eating feed and I especially liked my treats which are Cheetos. I play with my humans but it is really fun to bully the cat.

Although, I am happy and very loved where I am and my family has given me the best life they can, they worry that it is not the best life for me. I have been given an amazing opportunity to move to North Carolina to live at Bella ViewFarm Animal Sanctuary.  If you have not seen their website you really should check it out.  www.bellaviewfarmanimalsanctuary.com   

They are a farm sanctuary with a focus on goats with disabilities like me. I would have the opportunity to learn to be a goat(because apparently, I am not really a dog) to play and interact with other goats just like me in a safe loving environment.

In order for me to do this, it takes money. I need to raise $2000 to cover the expense of transportation, initial evaluation when I get there and admittance costs. I understand that times are hard for a lot of people right now, but if you could please find it in your heart to donate any amount to help me with these expenses, I would really appreciate it.
