On March 23rd, Dan had an accident where his skateboard popped up and hit him in the teeth. The accident caused a lot of damage and he lost one of his front teeth, damaged two others and messed up his gums really badly. Two of the teeth may be saveable with some dental work but the one that is missing will need an implant which is a very costly procedure. Getting to the point of the implant however is a long process that will need a lot of work done along the way.
The result to get everything fixed will cost around $8000.
We will be getting married in a few months from now and have been planning the wedding for quite awhile. Family and friends have booked flights and made arrangements to come so we don't want to postpone the date. We are trying to keep the costs low on our wedding but even with that in mind, we're spending most of what we have saved, not leaving much for dental work.
Generally this is not the type of thing we would ask for help with but the amount of work that needs to be done is more than we can come up with financially. Help of any kind from donations to suggestions for afforadable dental work would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
