Penelope's Heart Fund

My husband, Drew, and I have been married for 8 years.  After trying for many years to get pregnant and having a miscarriage in 2018, we found out we were expecting our rainbow baby girl, Penelope, in October 2020. The pregnancy has already had emotional up and downs while waiting for results from various medical testing.  We received the devastating news during a pediatric cardiology appointment at 29 weeks that Penny has a rare critical congenital heart defect, Tetralogy of Fallot (TCF). She will be an immediate admission to the NICU after she is born. Depending on her condition, she will either have open heart surgery at a few months old or just a few days old in the worst case scenario. She will have to have this surgery at an out of state medical center. She will require lifelong, ongoing medical care.  Penny is due to arrive at the end of June.
This is already an upsetting situation, but dealing with the pandemic and it's restrictions adds another layer of worry. We would be extremely grateful for any assistance, and any money received would be used for Penny's care and medical bills. Thank you for taking the time to read our story, Jenny and Drew.
