Darryl's Medical Fund

As most of you are aware, my Dad has been undergoing cancer treatment for Stage 4 Lung Cancer. Though the doctors have claimed that he would be able to work during the treatment, he has been too sick to be able to maintain his handyman jobs. Unfortunately, since he has been self-employed for many years state and federal disability have denied his claims for assistance. We are reaching out to all of the family and friends who are in a position to help Dad stay afloat on bills and medical expenses while he finishes the next 3-4 months of cancer treatment. After his cancer treatment he is facing surgery on his rotator cuff, which is what lead to the discovery of his cancer. With all of that being said, Dad will be out of work for at least 7 months, possibly more, depending on the effects of treatment and how quickly surgery is scheduled. 

We based our financial goal on the amount of money needed to get dad by for the next 7-12 months. Asking for money has always been a tough thing for my Dad but he has reluctantly agreed to let us ask for some finanical help during this tough time.

All money donated will be given directly to my Dad and Donna to help assist with gas going to and from his daily treatments, healthy foods, covering medical expenses not covered by insurance, and assisting with his bills that he has no income to pay for. If you are able to help in anyway, we are all greatly appreciative.
