Mission Trip to Guatemala

Hello, my name is Brooke Chandler. I am a senior Adolescent Math Education major at Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, New York.

This February, I will be traveling to Huehuetenango, Guatemala with the Roberts' Enactus team. Our team has been connecting solutions in Rochester to the needs of Huehue for a few years now. Primarily by opening a restaurant, Fuego, to employ local orphans at the Fundacion Salvacion Orphanage.



We will be traveling February 19th through the 25th, and we will be:
-Working with More Than Compassion (MTC) at the School of Hope and the Fundacion Salvacion Orphanage -Working at Fuego restaurant
-Spending time with the community



Galatians 5:13 states "You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather serve one another humbly in love."
The Lord has put it on my heart to travel to Guatemala and serve in his name.
