Wolverhampton 10k Running Fasted in Ramadan 2024

“In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful”

My name is Abdul Hasib and I am raising money to build water wells in developing countries.

The money will be donated to a charity who will build the wells over the next 12 months (updates will be provided here).

I completed the Wolverhampton 10k run on Sunday 24th of March whilst fasting for Ramadan.

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: “The best charity is giving water to drink,”

For individuals to grow up healthy and happy, they need access to clean water, proper sanitation, and good hygiene. I believe access to clean water and proper sanitation are basic human rights. Especially taking into account and context - the human body is approximately 2/3 or 75% water.

Building the water wells from donated money takes approximately 12 months to complete. I will give feedback here on GoFundMe.

Please donate and be the spark to reignite the smile in a child and a stranger's heart. Your donation will enable individuals access to safe, clean water and transform lives in profound ways. It means that drinking, cooking, washing, and feeding animals no longer pose a risk of illness.
