Hi I'm Jay.

I have been APPROVED FOR a DOUBLE LUNGTRANSPLANT.

I am a Father. My Wife and I have One Child. He is 15.

I have a end of life lung disease that may be derived from being a "lifelong" visual artist. I am a oil painter.

I have always dwelled in the genre of happiness. Happiness in the simplest most nostalgic incantations.

This has been a LONG and TRYING JOURNEY.

I have end stage sarcoidosis lung disease. I have %15 lung capacity. My in home continuous oxygen is 8 on it's settings. Most people on oxygen are not exceeding level 3, mostly 2. My head surgeon says I am" running out of time". I am humbly requesting donations for travel and lodging to Brentwood Tennessee . The lung transplant team will be monitoring my mortality. I have been told I am running out of time. I have had several viruses this year. I am on immunosuppressants so my body can accept foreign lungs. Doctors say one more time could be the last. I am praying I will be transplanted when lungs become available. I may have more singing and dancing to do to get these lungs. I must have at least $5,000 of $10,000 upfront, of my own money. Vanderbilt would like to be assured that i will have a fighting, financial chance of survival. Lodging will be $3,000 per month. I must be within 10 miles of Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Downtown Nashville is very expensive. " My life with my wife and son is priceless. The normal lodging I have had for almost a year in Nashville has not been available. We have had to pay double for stays recently. I travel by an older model van. The van carries 30 oxygen tanks, a very large in home Oxygen Concentrator. I must be on oxygen continuously. Major mechanical issues have been resolved before each trip. That means the van has had major mechanical issues. After the last trip, the radiator hose has been replaced. The ERG valve must be replaced before the upcoming trip. I travel to a different city and state, 100 miles for pulmonary therapy to loose 40 lbs. I am this campaigns manager and recipient. I live in Maumelle Arkansas. I seek funds for a Ipad Pro. I can illustrate books and earn my own way. I have medical expenses beyond my means. I have traveled l to and from Vanderbilt University Medical Center for lung transplant evaluations and testing. I will be having a double lung transplant. The doctors want me to keep my lungs until the last minute. I am a visual artist. Paint fumes and pottery dust may have led to my illness. I accept funds for art supplies. I attempt to provide for myself through art daily. I will never give up. I seek only a hand up, not a hand out. I am thankful for those who are able. I gladly accept all prayers. Currently. The Surgeon has goals that must be met or denied transplantation. I must have $10,000 for 3 week recovery, she stated. Any and all documentation of proof of my life ending disease can be provided. I look strong because I intend to live "Ase" I have one child, a 15year old Sun and a wife of 20 years. Again humbly, I ask for my Sun. To live for my Child.
