We're on a mission to bring barn owl nest boxes, with live-streaming cameras, to schools in the Greater Bay Area.
Not only are barn owls fascinating and fun to watch, they are excellent at controlling rodent populations. One family of owls can eat over 4,000 rodents in a year!
Help us bring owls to schools.
The benefit of barn owl nest boxes with cams:
- Additional opportunity to teach students about wildlife and the environment.
- Opportunity to incorporate the owls in various studies - sciences, art, creative writing, wood shop (building nest boxes), and more.
- Reduces need for costly and often environmentally unfriendly alternatives for gopher and rodent control on campus.
- Numerous promotional opportunities for the school.
