This week one of God's angels returned to be with Him. Although Owen didn't spend long with us, his life had a deep and lasting impact on all who knew him.
As his grandmother said, "Owen was our family's special gift. He taught us all so much.... how to love better, how to give without ceasing, how to appreciate every breath you take, and the joy that is ours in sacrificing and caring for others."
As we prepare to celebrate Owen's life, and to grieve the hole his passing has left, we would like to invite you to help us honor him and the work God did through him, through your prayers for strength and perseverance for Sheresa and Jayce and Ethyn and Mason.
If you were planning to send flowers for the family, we would ask that you donate the funds instead, to help pay for Owen's funeral and to help the family as they wrestle to regain a sense of the normal in the face of great loss.
All funds raised will pay for funeral fees and Owen's considerable medical bills. Should there be any surplus funds, they will be directed towards Mason's ongoing medical expenses–– any support that you can offer would be greatly appreciated in these trying times.
