Owen Carmicino's Eagle Project 9-11 Memorial Sign

My name is Owen Carmicino, and I am raising money for my Eagle Scout Project. My community has a 9/11 Memorial, but most people don’t know about it. My project is to create and install a sign by the major roadway so that people know about the memorial.

The sign is designed to look good and last a long time. It is constructed of two sheets of stainless steel with black plexiglass between the two. The lettering will all be laser cut on both sheets of stainless steel so that it can be read from both sides.

I have already received approval from the Cold Spring Recreation Department, the Cold Spring Historic District Review Board, and the Boy Scouts. The sign will be cut by Lastertech and Boy Scouts will assist with installation.
