Howdy John Wall New Voices Act (HB1471) Supporters!
We have had massive support across North Dakota and the United States for our student press protection bill. But even for an effort this size, we've been able to keep costs very low. Our only major expenses have been the travel arrangements our expert testimony: Frank LoMonte (SPLC Executive Director), Mary Beth Tinker (The Tinker Standard, First Amendment Advocate), and Cathy Kuhlmeier Frey (Hazelwood v. Kuhlmeier).
Frank LoMonte and the Student Press Law Center have graciously fronted most of the travel costs, and we would like to give back to the SPLC for making this dream bill a reality.
