My Aunt Jeri passed away yesterday. There are still many bills that have accumulated that my Uncle Joe will not be able to pay. Please give whatever you can. Thank you in advance from the whole family. Here is her obituary.

Geraldine "Jeri" Guido, 74, of Lower Burrell, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 4, 2017, at home, surrounded by her family, after a valiant battle with cancer. She was born November 1942, in Tarentum, to the late Helen Zaboski and the late David Brooks. She was a 1959 graduate of Tarentum High School, and lived and worked in the A-K Valley her entire life. Whether it was cooking, baking or canning, Jeri loved feeding people. She also loved spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies, and sunning by the pool. She attended numerous churches in the area and enjoyed listening to contemporary Christian music, particularly the Gaither Family Homecomings. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, George "Joe" Guido; sons, Michael (Angie) Guido, of Powell, Tenn., Brian (LeeAnn) Guido, of Lower Burrell; daughter, Lisa Guido, of Lower Burrell; grandchildren, Tony (Britney) Nolan, Elizabeth (Travis) Pennington, Ekleana, Sarra, Gabriella and Caleb Guido; and great-grandchildren, Emma and Connor Pennington. Also surviving are the much-beloved siblings she found later in her life, Jim (Nancy) Brooks, Patty Rubin, Ron (Mary) Brooks, Tom (Joyce) Brooks, Richard (Brenda) Brooks, and David Brooks, and all their families; her "adopted" sisters, Marilyn Ballard and Jackie Tuxill, and their families; and her invaluable caregivers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jill Guido; and sister, MaryAnn Lewis.
Viewing will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where prayers of transfer will be held at 9:25 a.m. Tuesday, followed at 10 a.m. by a funeral Mass in St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, 3055 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell. Father Ken Zaccagnini will celebrate the Mass. Private entombment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lower Burrell.
