I have opened up this GoFundMe account for my half sister, Tanna Overton, who lost her mother, Loretta, last night after a year long fight to cancer. Tanna is an only child, and Loretta raised Tanna as a single mother.
As a 19-year-old in college, Tanna is now responsible for the medical bills that have piled up over the last year, memorial expenses, and now has no way of continuing to pay for her schooling.
Although I would like to raise enough for Tanna to continue her education, I have set the goal to $5000 to get us started with memorial costs and pending medical bills. All donations and proceeds will go directly to help Tanna pay for these expenses and every donation helps, no matter how big or small.
Loretta was a woman of strong faith, and I know she is watching over Tanna now and no longer suffering.
