Overdose Prevention Society Funds

The Overdose Prevention Society is an indoor supervised injection site and an outdoor safe inhalation site, operating at 58 East Hastings. Founded by Sarah Blyth in response to the fentanyl crisis, we are committed to providing low-barrier care and harm reduction services to the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver, British Columbia.
Our peer staff are members of the Downtown Eastside community and they work tirelessly every day to continue to save lives and respond to overdoses during this crisis. We pay our peer staff daily with an honourarium.
Because of tight budgets, we find supporting our peers beyond the daily honourarium is difficult. We have established a WELLNESS FUND to help our peer staff to feel cared for and supported. In instances such as the loss of a family member and the need for time off due to burnout or stress, having some extra money available for paid time off is extremely important.
Please consider donating today. Your money goes directly to the staff at OPS working the front lines during a very demanding time.
Thank you for your continued support of the Overdose Prevention Society.
