Out of work, Broke my leg. NEED HELP

Hi my name is Jeff Hall and I’m a hard working father to 6 kids. Last week while as I was taking my youngest child to school I slipped on the ice in my driveway breaking two bones in my leg and I needed immediate surgery . So far all I know is that I’m an Going to be out of work for 6 to 8wks  with a. Possible second surgery I am in bed rest to give my leg and foot time to heal with out having any income coming in  from myself except from my partner Amy this will hurt us Financially.. we are asking all our friends and Family to please help us!
 I have tried to apply for unemployment and disability, but they cannot help if I'm not able to work.

Please I'm begging for help as I don’t know what to do to get throughout the next few months.
