once again we are asking for help. Please know that asking for help is incredibly humbling. It pains John greatly that we are not capable of handling this on our own.
As many of you know I have struggled with my health for a long time now. I have finally found the neurosurgeon that can actually help me. Dr. Richard Teff studied under the leading chiari surgeon for years. My appointment has taken forever to get here. It is Dec 11th. Today I got a call from his office. They had yet to inform me that his office is out of network. My consult appointment will be $185.00. My heart sank. I need several procedures done including a spinach tap and possibly surgery.
In the last month we have put our house on the market. We have refinanced our vehicles. Our credit cards are all maxed out. We just found out that our $554.00 per month insurance cost is going up to $604.00. To say things are bleak is an understatement.
I have told john I refuse to put us in any more financial debt. I will just end any treatment now. I will accept this is my life and just deal with it.
John said no, that's not an option. That in the past family and friends have always been willing and able to help us.
Being so close to Christmas we are aware that it is a hard time to help others. Please know we only ask for you to give as long as you have it to give. Please don't take away from your family if you can't afford it.
