Our student lost his home to fire

Dear colleagues, friends and family,
One of our students, Nicholas, lost his house to a fire on March, 9th, 2017. Thankfully no one was physically injured. He, his brother and parents have currently been living with his cousins but this is an untenable long-term solution. The family has worked insanely hard to make the apartment they used to live in a home. They have lost everything they own. Unfortunately, they had not taken out renter's insurance since it recently became too expensive and now they have to start all over again. I hope that we can help them rebuild their lives with some financial support, so they can afford clothes, a rental deposit and some basic furniture. Both Nicholas and his brother, who is a high school junior, are wonderful students. Nicholas studies extra hard and never shies away from helping others. Every penny counts so please give what you can. Let's help Nicholas’ family get back on their feet!
