Our Rescue pigs

We at Trail's End Wildlife Refuge, are asking for your help. We recently assisted in the rescue of 28 pot bellied pigs from an animal hoarding case. We have taken into our Refuge 5 of these poor pigs. These pigs were kept in dog crates full of fecal waste. They were fed scraps and garbage. Most were under weight and had no veterinary care. The other 23 pigs have gone to other rescues around the area and are safe as well. The dogs , cats, and chickens are with the local humane society.
We are asking for your support, as we are in need of supplies , such as lumber to finish our pig barn and make it comfortable for winter weather. Also with 5 new pigs we need, to enlarge our fencing so they have plenty of room to graze. Also extra funds are needed to cover medical needs.
They are all so happy to be out of dog crates and eating healthy foods, and have fresh water. Now we just have to make their areas the right size for them.
We've been working hard to get our old barn fixed up with new subflooring, but we can only do what our funds allow as we are a none-for-profit sanctuary.
New work being started
Our roof work is underway to repair the damage, but your help is needed.
We are comitted to giving these pigs the best life they've had. They are being spayed and neutered. Also we are giving much needed vaccinations and dental care.
We are not paid for any part of our sanctuary. Our Board President is a retired school teacher, who herself has medical needs, but her love of animals always rises to the top. I myself am a full-time volunteer, and give my time daily to help care for the animals of Trails End.
So please won't you help us reach our goal? No donation is to small.
Thanks for helping these piggies.
