Newly homeless family after the Furnissdale house fire

Hi, we are the Pusey family, a family of 7 and we have recently lost our entire home to a house fire.

We came home to a burning house, and we stood by helplessly watching our entire lives light up in flames. We lost our beloved cats and most of the house. We thought the worst was over but overnight a flare up broke out and we lost the rest of the house and everything inside it. Our childhood photos. Our documentation. Our belongings. All of it.

The insurance won’t cover everything we’ve lost or the full cost to rebuild. We are already in a low financial position with the owners being pensioners and suffering from multiple health issues that impact their physical abilities.

Our home was built by hand by the owner Bernie Pusey 40 years ago, who has lived there for most of his life. His home contained the memories of his children, wife and their belongings.
