Help SAVE OUR SCHOOL........Below are videos showing just WHY this wonderful School HAS TO BE SAVED!
Saint Gabriel Catholic School was established in 2012, as a non-diocesan, independent, Catholic school. Our school’s mission is to promote academic excellence, spiritual and physical development of all students by providing a challenging curriculum. This curriculum encourages critical thinking, embraces the fine arts, and provides structured physical activities in an atmosphere that upholds the magisterium of the Catholic Church and the unity of all Catholic churches worldwide. Over the past years, we continue to grow and to become one of the highest achieving Catholic elementary schools in Las Vegas. We were fortunate enough to have the support of a single benefactor. Unfortunately, our benefactor has given our expectational school until the end of this school year to secure our own funding or Saint Gabriel Catholic School will have to close it’s doors for good.
As a committed school community who value our school, staff, and our students, your support will allow us to move forward. We would love to continue offering an advanced level of education and serve our community for a brighter future for all. Please consider contributing to our school to enable us to continue our important work.
Saint Gabriel began with seven students and currently has 120 students enrolled whom are excelling in a rigorous curriculum, based in STREAM, with an emphasis on science and technology with faith formation. We offer a Core Knowledge based curriculum, which far exceeds national standards and an advanced mathematics module. This past trimester, we had 67 percent of students receive academic honors.
Aside from our high academic standards, like you, our students are community minded and have donated over 2,000 service hours to the Las Vegas Catholic Worker. Additionally, each of our classes has its own service project. Through these projects the students have served many local organizations, namely: the USO, Fischer House at Nellis AFB, Hearts Alive Village, St. Jude’s Ranch, Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation, and area public schools.
Saint Gabriel is a non-profit organization; therefore, all donations are tax deductible. Our tax exempt information is attached for audit purposes.
With your help, we know this effort will be a success. We remain grateful and humble for any contribution you are able to make.
