Our grandson Noah's medical costs

I am Noah's grandfather, and on 8-11-17 as I was at home recovering from surgery, my wife and I found out that Noah was taken to the hospital with an unknown illness(at that time), and then life-flighted to Doernbecher childrens hospital in portland, Oregon. After numerous tests, he was found to have contracted Shiga Toxin H.U.S.
Hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS) is a condition caused by the abnormal destruction of red blood cells. The damaged red blood cells clog the filtering system in the kidneys, which can lead to life-threatening kidney failure.
He has daily blood transfusions and has dyalisis once a day for renal failure and many other tests. He has been in the pediatric ICU for the last 7 days and will need phyisical therapy for weeks afterward.
These funds are important to our family because even though our daughter, Tara will not leave Noah's side, the rest of us live 400 miles from the hospital where Noah is at and cannot afford to travel to him when he needs us most. Our daughter and son-in-law have had to leave their jobs and home to be with him and are not fortunate to have money for a hotel room so they have been sleeping at the hospital and eating in the cafateria there which is expensive. They need help now and in the future for medical expenses and bills that they've had to ignore to survive this. This is not easy for us to ask for this help, we have always made our own way and god forbid we'll ever be in this position again. Thank you and god bless.
