Our Father’s Surgery

I was a careless daughter. Isaac was a careless son. Mellanie was a careless daughter. Melita was a careless daughter. We were all careless children’s.
Recently our father has been complaining about chest, abdominal and lower back pain. We suggested to take Tylenol, and he did. Couple weeks later he began showing more symptoms. We overheard our father puking in the bathroom. We offer him Pepto Bismol, and he took it. Monday morning we heard vomiting noises in the upstairs bathroom. The oldest, Mercedes, walked into the bedroom to offer heating pads to ease the pain. It didn’t help, so we took him to the Emergency Room at Woodwind.
After spending 5 hours with our father, the medical team had concluded that it was a gallstone that had been causing him pain. They told us that the only way to remove the gallstone is through surgery. Woodwind released my father from the ER that afternoon. We took him home. The nurse told us that if the pain was to occur again, we should give him tyneol and ibuprofen, so we did.
Wednesday morning at 1 am, we had taken him to the Emergency Room once again. This time we knew it was worst so we bought him in Regions where they’ll be surgeons on the site. After the nurse took an ultrasound on him, they concluded that he MUST have surgery today. The medical team confirmed that the gallbladder will be removed.
My father is a strong man. He doesn’t like to show much of his affection toward us, but we know he cherishes us very much. We were raised by our single father that is financially unstable. After hearing that our father is in desperate need of surgery, we decided to help contribute to his financial need for this operation. Please show your support and love to the Heng family.
