Our Brave Ava

Our sweet friends, Josselyn and David Morales are in need of our help. Their darling, bright, and sweet daughter Ava Morales (sitting next to her dad in the photo, dressed in the white coat), has recently been diagnosed with leukemia. This comes as a shock and is something no one should ever have to go through, especially an adorable 5-year-old girl.

Ava has an older brother, Levi, a twin brother Oliver, and younger triplet siblings: Autumn, Calvin and Margo. The triplets were miracle babies born at 23 weeks old. They are doing great but require a lot of care and attention due to their early births. The three younger siblings have had their share of doctor visits, surgeries, and hospital stays. This wonderful family already had their hands full: raising their beautiful children, community service, church activities, regular doctor & hospital visits for the triplets, etcetera. It seems unfair that they have another emergency added to their plates. Yet they have faced this new problem head-on and with such courage and bravery. Not asking others for help but instead wanting to do it on their own. Hence we are asking for them.

Ava's life just changed dramatically, and so has her family's. Ava’s current recovery has her set for a 2-year treatment plan. The treatments, time away from work, and hospital stays are adding up fast! Ava is fighting hard every moment of every day. Likely while you’re reading this, she is at the hospital battling this illness. Both David and Josselyn worked previously; but recently made the decision to transition Josselyn to a stay-at-home mother, caring for their little ones. Now they’re hit again with enormous emergency fees after reducing their working income.

Please join us in helping ease some financial stress of this dear family, allowing the family to focus on healing. We urge you to consider donating. These funds will be withdrawn and used by the Morales to help with anything they may need - medical bills, housing expenses, travel costs & everyday living. Anything you can give will make a difference, no matter how small; it will add up! This family is so deserving of our help and love! We know the Morales family is hopeful and grateful for any support they are able to receive. They see miracles all along the way.
