Our Beautiful Alexis’

I am a close family friend who is raising money for Alexis’ memorial and her two boys. We are all so grieved at her untimely death. Alexis was 40 years young and very healthy. A few months ago she found out she had a benign tumor that needed to be removed from near her pituitary gland because it was pushing on her ocular nerve. She had surgery Wednesday, March 15, 2023 but they were only able to remove 80% of the tumor. The decision was made to remove the remaining 20% on Friday, March 17, 2023. Unfortunately there were complications. She had a massive stroke and hemorrhaged. Her brain put itself into a coma and she would eventually fall asleep in death early Monday morning on March 20, 2023.

Alexis was to be married next month and was deep in the wedding planning process. Her loved ones were preparing for her wedding. This comes as a shock to everyone close to Alexis and we cannot imagine life without her. She leaves behind two amazing boys, just 14 and 16 years old. Alexis lived and breathed for her boys and we will all do everything we can to make sure they are taken care of.
