Our Angel, Emerson Shiffman
Donation protected
Hi everyone! My name is Emerson Shiffman. I'm a 2-year-old, energetic, rambunctious, happy boy!
My family tells me I'm an angel. Yeah, yeah, I know, all kids are "angels", but did you know that I actually AM an angel? Like, for real...
In the summer of 2019, I was diagnosed with Angelman Syndrome, a rare, neuro-genetic disorder that affects 1 in 15,000 people. You can find out more about it here , but, in a nutshell, this condition causes some severe developmental delays that will affect me my whole life.
My mommy and daddy are doing everything they can to make sure I have all the resources I need to thrive... But, as you can imagine, these things add up. That's where you can help.
Your donation will be put into my STABLE account to help with things like therapy, medication, medical equipment, etc. And, my mommy and daddy will be making a donation back to the Angelman Syndrome Foundation to aid in research for a cure.. because I have dreams of playing a round of golf with my Daddy, my Uncle Matt, my Papa Bruce and my Pap Dale... Don't worry, I'll take it easy on them.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read about me, and Angelman Syndrome... And thank you even more for your generous donation.
