For Hannah’s secondary breast cancer diagnosis

Donation protected
In May 2022, my beautiful sister Hannah was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. This was a total shock to her and everyone around her - she was in her twenties, with a young daughter. As we knew she would, she smashed through her Cancer treatment. Hannah underwent a double mastectomy and reconstruction surgery, months of chemotherapy and also radio treatment. She may have lost her hair, her eyelashes and eyebrows but never her strength and courage - she fought through it all. Through the tears, the pain, this sickness. She made it through with the incredible support from those around her, her family, friends, and further afield. We thank everyone who helped her make it through the other side to the point she was told by the specialists that she had a complete response to treatment! The best outcome there could have been! We were beyond relieved and proud. She was able to have the wedding day she deserved and married the love of her life, Tom. She was beyond happy and felt so grateful to have everything she’d ever wanted in her little family and was ready to move forward happily and healthily together. However - This wasn’t as easy as we had all hoped as after everything that had happened, Hannah was fearful that the cancer might come back. Intrusive thoughts, anxiety, PTSD and terrified she might not be able to watch her baby girl grow up. We all tried to comfort and reassure her. Even the doctors told her that these thoughts were normal, and everything was okay now. Unfortunately everything was not ok. Her cancer has returned and spread to her spine. This is known as secondary breast cancer which is incurable. Hannah and Tom have been taking some time to process everything and come to terms with what is happening whilst we await confirmation of the action plan from the oncologists. Although Hannah can’t be cured, she can undergo further treatment to give her as much time as possible with her loved ones. In order to ensure this is absolutely maximised, we are asking all of our friends and family to help and support in any and every way possible! We are using this page to raise as much as we can in anyway we can, and this money will go directly to Hannah, Tom and Mila to help them through this truly heartbreaking time. We will be organising fundraisers - runs, walks, bake sales, quiz nights and more. Hannah herself will be doing a muddy obstacle course with her friends, the Pretty Muddy Race For Life on the 25th May. Please help us in anyway you can. Help me give my sister the best time she can have with Tom and gorgeous Mila. To donate and keep up to date on our fundraising click here:
