Our 1st Jr. Sr. Prom at a Location

Cedars International Next Generation High School Classes of 2022 and 2023,

Our school has been opened for 6 years and we now have the opportunity to have our 1st official Jr./Sr. Prom outside of our small school at the University of Texas Alumni Center. We have only been able to have 1 other prom at our school; however, our classes have grown too large to host a prom at our small school and we are not large enough (yet) to cover the cost of a Prom outside of school. We have to pay for the facility, catering, service and set up as part of the rental agreement totaling $5748.00. We have a volunteer teacher that will be our D.J. and we plan to purchase tickets to the Prom and do some fundraisers to help with the costs as well. However, this will not be enough to cover the rental fee and we need the funds no later than February 15 to secure the venue.

We have worked really hard over the last 2 years keeping our school at the forefront by learning virtually at home during pandemic and this year at school through our deeper Project Based Learning while maintaining our positive family school culture at the center of everything we do. This Prom will be a great venue to be together, have some connect fun, and celebrate our successes as the last 2 years have been very difficult. Your generosity to make our Prom a reality means more than words can describe.
